Noah Part 2

Genesis 6:9 ~ 22

1. Consider Noah what he was like

    a. righteous, blameless, walked w/God

    b. by the blood of Jesus we are as well

2. Earth was corrupt in God’s sight, same now

    a. full of violence ~ every man against his neighbor

    b. spiritual pollution endangers physical world

    c. Romans 8:19 creation is waiting for relief

3. God loves us & will not allow sin to take over

    a II Peter 3:9 patience does not equal acceptance

    b. God was calling they rejected Him

    c. God calls thru us the church to a lost world

    d. God knows how to protect those who seek Him in times of trouble

4. Noah & his 3 sons listened to God

   a. began to build a big boat consider size and cost the materials  ( picture of modern tools )

   b. God told them exactly what they needed and us too

   c. God tells us how to prepare today for tomorrow

5. if Noah had said it’s too big it’ll take a 100 yrs. to build

   a. everything outside was going to die

   b. everyone outside of the church, the body of Christ is going to die & be forever in hell

   c. do we have room for more/  what plans is God giving us

   d. we limit God by our small thinking or not listening

   e. do you have big crazy dreams or thoughts of comfort and maintaining things just as they are

Noah did everything just as God commanded him.  If Noah had said no he would have drowned.  We are headed into new territory.  It is called tomorrow.  If we listen to God amazing things will happen.  The best is ahead of us not behind.  Are you ready?
