John 20: 1 ~18

1. Peter and John run to the tomb to check out story

   a. Jesus gone Mary doesn’t know where they put Him

       1) religion says to enter is to be defiled

       2) only way to know for sure is go in

   d. linen still there & folded cloth from head

   e. believed but didn’t understand from scripture  resurrection

        1) Matthew 22:29 error cause don’t know scripture

        2) I Corinthians 2:14 spiritual discernment

        3) difference between having the words & knowing

   f. disciples go home what else is there

2. Mary Magdalene and other women met at tomb

   a. bringing spices to put on the body

   b. entering tomb see 2 men who ask them why are you crying

       1) revised version Mark 16:6 Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus the Nazarene, which hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!

   c. Luke 24:5 why seek living among the dead

   d. focused on the physical & miss what is happening

      1) appears others left but Mary Magdalene couldn’t

   e. vs. 15 Jesus speaks to Mary

   f. where have you put Him~ looking for dead body

  g. Ps 30:5b suddenly reality sinks in it is Jesus

3. Proclaim the good news Jesus Lives

  a. when the message is real to you

  b. I have seen the Lord

Is the reality of Jesus resurrection real to you?  This is a solid fact not a guess.  Many people have seen Him alive.  Even today some have seen Jesus.  Why?  Because, He is alive now and forever more.  If you will believe life will flow into you from Jesus.  Jesus the only wise God who was is and ever will be.  Do not doubt.  Do not focus on the physical but focus on Jesus, alive forevermore.
