Love

Angel food ministries is the church providing for the needs of others.  It is open to everyone regardless of income.  Linda and I plan to take part. I urge you to as well.  West Park Nazarene is the distribution site. We are going to partner with them in this. I believe 1^st Assembly of God is as well. If you would like to volunteer it is one Sat morning a month. Sponsorships. This is a very practical way to express Gods love. What good is it to be full of love but not have an outlet for that love?  God created mankind as the object of His love. Love must be given.  So God gave us the right to chose whether we would love Him or not.  You are here today because you have chosen to love God.

1. In order to show us His love the Father sent the Son

   a. Jesus born in a stable and laid in a manger

   b. Jesus fully God and fully man

2. Jesus is the perfect expression of God’s love

   a. every word, everything He did showed us Gods love

   b.  I John 4:19 we can love because Jesus first loved us

3. How can we know what love is I John 3:16 & 17

  a. Jesus laid down His life for us

  b. so ought we to sacrifice for our brothers

4. the love of God is not just a feeling

  a. love is not love until it is put into action

  b. if you never tell someone your of love how will they know

  c. if you don’t demonstrate your love in tangible ways the words will have no meaning

  a. true love involves commitment

8. John 21: 15 – 22 do you love God?

Do you love the material things of this earth more than you love God?  If you love God more you will love your brothers and sisters.  If you love them you do more than just say the words.    What someone else does or says is of no importance you are to follow Jesus in the way of love.
